Can I upgrade my package?

Yes, you can upgrade at any time.

What if I don’t like some of the selections? Can they be changed?

We have an approval process that easily allows for changes. Once your sommelier or cicerone® selects your pairings, they are sent to you for approval. Any substitution requests can be made at this time.

Can I add extra dish pairings to a menu order for the bronze, silver or gold packages?

Yes, additional dish pairings can be purchased in the Enhancements section.

What happens if I don’t return my information in time for my deadline?

Our deadlines are based on your needs. At the time of purchase, you have the option to include a specific date you’ll need pairing and selections by.

Can I break up the dishes per menu in my package and use half for one menu at one time and half for another menu later?

No. Unfortunately, pairing development costs are per menu and factored into packages as listed.

Can I use the Seasonal Menu for a Holiday/Special Occasion (1-off) Menu?

Yes, the product will be provided as outlined in the package with ultimate usage up to client.

Can I use the Holiday Menu for a Seasonal Menu?

Yes, the product will be provided as outlined in the package with ultimate usage up to client.

Can THE WINE KEY assist with my venue’s wine inventories?

No, THE WINE KEY is designed to assist with pairings and does not request the information that would be required to ascertain inventories.

What if a suggested wine is unavailable through distributor?

THE WINE KEY suggestions are good for up to six months from the time provided. If a wine becomes unavailable during this time, clients may contact THE WINE KEY for new pairing recommendations.

Do you pro-rate if I book at the end of the year? Can I start in the middle of a season? If I have services left at the end of the year will they roll over to the next year?

Yes. Contracts are not annual. They begin and end at the completion of services outlined in packages.

How do I train my staff to use THE WINE KEY?

A training guide with talking points is provided with every WINE KEY Package, outlining how to train personnel to utilize our services.
